Chris leaves behind his father, Richard J. Eickhorst; sister Jennifer Reeves and her husband, Michael; brothers Michael Deegan and his wife Kelly, Dennis Eickhorst and Liz, Shawn and Eric Eickhorst; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His mother Margaret Eickhorst, who passed away in 2016, and his brother Edward Deegan, who died in 2013, preceded him in death.
The funeral arrangements allowed family, friends, and community members to come together, offering prayers and support during this difficult time.
The Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home in Somerville hosted the visitation hours, and a Mass was held at Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. Chris was laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.

Education played a significant part in Chris’s life. He graduated in 2002 from Kean University, earning a degree in felonious justice. Still, his true passion lay in baseball.
Chris showcased his gift and fidelity on the field, starting his baseball trip at Immaculata High School before playing for Kean University.

His exceptional chops led him to be drafted by the Tampa Bay Shafts during his bad time in council. As a council elderly, he inked with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Throughout his professional baseball career from 2002 to 2008, Chris played for the St. Louis Cardinals and their related minor league brigades.
