The Power Rangers Actress and her companion, Actress and model Angela Rockwood, were passengers in a vehicle traveling late at night on Interstate 5 between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The two were returning from a visit to a Close friend who was to be a bridesmaid in her future wedding to Actor and director Dustin Nguyen. Trang and the car’s driver would be bridesmaids at the wedding.
According to the tale, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to swerve violently down the road before hitting a rock wall at the side of the road and rolling over many times before hitting the safety rail over the bank.
Trang died on her way to the hospital, but Rockwood, was ejected from the vehicle through the window as it spun, and the automobile driver survived.
It is unknown whether any of the passengers were wearing seat belts. Rockwood, whose injuries rendered her paraplegic, has repeatedly maintained that she was not wearing a seatbelt.
